Un air de famille

I just love the way the coloured stones seem to compete with the two plants for the viewer’s attention. Mother Nature has a great palette of colours at her disposal to create such diversity.

This watercolour was made on Aquabord (museum series panel) by Ampersand. This acid-free textured clay surface absorbs watercolours like a fine paper. Watercolours on Aquabord can be sealed and framed without glass, keeping colours and textures true to life. It has been spray varnished three times with a UV protection varnish and an additional liquid varnish is added to ensure that the image will not be altered with time.
